Outstanding Contribution Award (retired 2013)

The Outstanding Contribution Award was presented annually until 2012 to recognize individuals’ outstanding contribution to higher education. The criteria for this award were:

  1. the individual is perceived by peers as a higher education specialist in his or her field (i.e. people turn to this individual for assistance, interpretations, etc); OR
  2. the individual has carried out research and made a presentation on an issue of importance (i.e. local, regional, national, or professional) which served as foundation for change/strategic direction; OR
  3. the individual led a major initiative within her/her university which is considered a best practice by other universities; the individual has presented the initiative at a higher education administration forum; OR
  4. the individual has contributed above-average time, effort, energy to CAUBO and its activities
  5. AND the individual has demonstrated support for CAUBO and its goals.
