Facilities Management Community

Canadian post-secondary institutions face significant issues related to facilities management including but not limited to maintaining a clean and healthy environment for students and personnel, limited resources, growing demand for the adaptation of space to meet the rapidly changing needs of academic programs, renewal of facilities, ensuring high performance buildings, prioritizing and addressing growing deferred maintenance, and the effective management of new construction. Within CAUBO, leadership on this issue has been delegated to the Facilities Management Committee.
