Sustainability

Achieving an environmentally, socially and economically just and sustainable future presents the greatest challenge of this generation. Higher education institutions, faculty students and staff play an essential role in this journey.

Given its broad interdisciplinary nature, sustainability is the subject of discussion and interest at almost all of CAUBO’s committees and the Board.  CAUBO has been monitoring through surveys the leadership of universities in advancing this issue from all perspectives.  We will continue to provide leadership on sustainability issues by raising awareness among members and by provide information, training and other services.
