2008 Annual Conference: Making Connections

Winnipeg, located at the heart of the country where the east meets the west, and at the junction of the Red and Assiniboine Rivers, is an ideal setting for the 2008 conference.  Winnipeg’s newest bridge, the Esplanade Riel, represented in the conference logo, is an impressive landmark that was designed specifically for the movement of people and serves as an important connection between the community and the Forks, an historic meeting place. It is truly a fitting symbol for the theme of CAUBO 2008 —“Making Connections”.
