To install these controls and test your system configuration, go to http://bluarc12.sonexis.net, select "System Test" then "I'm a participant" and proceed to "Check my System." Please do this in advance and contact George Dew
at email@example.com if you have any difficulties. For more details see the following tutorials. Note that you need administrative privileges on your computer to configure the system - contact your technical support personnel if you do not have these privileges.
No later than 24 hours prior to the webinar you will receive an e-mail invitation with log-in details, such as dial-in information, a conference number and a personalized PIN. It is not necessary to reply to this e-mail; your attendance has already been confirmed. Log-in for the web and audio portions of the conference is done separately.
Note that the invitation includes an attached file (meeting.vcs). Some e-mail systems reject messages with these attachments; if this is the case for your system we will attempt to send you an individual invitation without the attachment. If you have not received an invitation by the morning of the conference please contact George Dew at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Click the link in the invitation; the log-in information should be entered automatically and you will join the conference. Note that the PIN is individual and will only allow one log-in. If the automatic log-in does not work, go to http://bluarc12.sonexis.net and select “Participant Log In,” then enter the requested information.
Dial the telephone number provided in the invitation and, following the instructions, enter the conference number and PIN, also provided in the invitation, when prompted. Note that the PIN is individual and will only allow one log-in.
Your view of the presentation will follow that of the coordinator. You may need to optimize the viewing size by maximizing the browser window or by selecting full screen viewing mode in the upper right section of the conference window.
Question & Answer
During Q&A portions of the presentation, click the “Raise hand” icon at the right of the conference window to indicate that you have a question. The conference coordinator will take questions in turn and will enable your telephone connection to allow you to speak with the presenter. Note that the conference, including questions and answers, may be recorded for use in future CAUBO training material.
